It’s been so clear ..the subject has limited scientific inquiry into love & sex addiction. I won’t say it’s taboo..but in many ways America is still somewhat puritanical. It is perfectly acceptable to be recovering from drugs or alcohol…but try posting “..recovering sex addict.. “ on your dating app…lol.
Agreed. A lot of shame attached. (Although I wouldn't recommend putting "recovering drug addict" on a dating app, either. Some people have no sense of humor...)
